Guest NParker Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Hi All, In a nutshell, Im intending to get a Working Holiday Visa and attend some interviews with aim of getting sponsored on a 457 Visa. And then move my family out. I was thinking that having a Working Holiday Visa might enhance my chances of getting employment (subject acquiring interviews first of course) as effectively I could start work straight away....But i'm unsure if I have to use the WH Visa first i.e. work until it expires then get a 457?? Bad times for my family if this was the case though. I have no idea how Australian Immigration would view this as? As the advice on their website is, is that WH Visas are just that and are not not for those intending to find permanent employment. Has anyone done something similar to this? Or able to offer any advice please? Cheers
