hi all,

the OH and myself will be sruggling on the new points test to get to aus and for the extra points would have to look at going to a regional area but what are classed as regional areas:confused:. OH is a nurse and has family in point cook, so the closer to there the better, any ideas?

Regional Victoria is very nice and if you have a look at this site you will get an idea about it.

http://www.invest.vic.gov.au/regional-victoria

Bendigo, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Traralgon, Sale, Mildura, Wangaratta, Shepparton, Swan Hill, Portland, Hamilton, Warragul, Horsham, Alexandra, Wodonga some of the towns and cities.

I like Bendigo, Wangaratta, Albury/Wodonga, Mildura, Ballarat for size.

Mildura is seven hours drive from Melbourne, Bendigo about two and a half depends on traffic and where you leave from in Melbourne. So that will give you an idea of the distances, they are great here in Aus.
