Lets update BD applicant Status

i was not asked to submit PCC & Med but only Form 80 like u (team 4?) & Spouse English ability. I Frontloaded (=FL) PCC (not in my checklist), and did my Med after i got CO (anticipating my case wont go beyond 6-month, i believe Med remain valid for 1-year anyway as PCC).

 

I uploaded Spouse IELTs 7th Oct which changed to Met on 27th Jan (after i sent PLE) and now All my Checklist = Met in 2nd page, leaving only Med = required. and on 1st page even my Med = Finalized (which someone explained me - not done by CO)

 

i took a chance to save time, hoping once my Checks are over - and CO revisit my case, i will get direct Grant (since all my checklist is Met & Meds finalized in 1st page).

Thanks for explaining ....how about the "many more months" that my CO replied..is it just a generic reply?..or they mean it that is is going to take many more months!...it sounds scary

this is a good strategy - but unfortunately we r human being, can not resist...

 

but i strongly believe - by March 2012, Sep 2011 applicants (like me :wink:) should be through.

for me both are the same month Sep 2011 :cool: - i felt like a saint for a few days and was flying high

 

dont worry man, BD applicants load will go down for sure, i have a 2nd friend of mine getting Med & PCC req this week as soon as CO allocation, without being put to security check - these r all good signs for us

ontacted My CO yesterday regarding my status......got reply this morning that i m going through internal n external cheks so i guess i m stuck for several months.....prb will take till may....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Anyone went through same situation plz let me knw whts the usual timeframe plz......esp for applicant frm Bangladesh!

I uploaded my wife's IELTS on 20 Dec 2011. I am happy that CO has updated the Document Checklist of DIAC's portal as 'Met' on 27 Feb 2012.

most of us bro in same boat - may be they have given away too many PR to BD guys in 1H 2011,

if i consider PK applicants (completed Checks till June 2011) + 2months is for BD guys, BD applicants checks probably reached till July/Aug 2011 CO allocation, I m on Sep 2011

 

did your CO mentione May 2012 (or your assumption?)

hw did u knw the cheks are till july /aug.....is there a way to check......i have send my form 80 on 1stweek december.....when do u recon is a reasonable time to get this sorted

unfortunately no way to check - unless u have friends/family sharing experience of their own. Most of my friends got CO after me, a couple of them were lucky enough not to be sent for ext checks & already got Grant within 1-month of CO allocation. So if u havnt heard anything from CO even after 2 months - certainly its in external checks.

 

i saw a guy shared that checks over in December 2011, got CO in May 2011 but he was 176 SS. so for him it was 8th month. couple of other (Username & Rahman both onshore Family S) waiting in their 11th/12th month (but both contacted by CO last month- so hope they get grant anytime soon). case to case varies.

 

My CO mentioned anytime beween 6-12 month and here I go into my 6th month today (perhaps i got my CO too fast - & now the price i pay after CO allocation), waiting everyday for Grant email is really painful - specially when everything is MET

User Name got his Grant last week, new journey for him - so things r moving !

 

Its interesting that checks take different time eg. CO :Feb 2011 - Checks over July 2011, CO: May 2011 - Checks over Dec 2011 (Off-shore), now March 2011 - Feb 2012 (On shore though). so cases vary and for some Grant within 1month from CO allocation.

 

I hope guys with CO allocated since Sep-Oct 2011 (off-shore) should hear sth before Easter Holidays April 6-9th

I am new to this thread. It's nice too see Bangladeshi thread. I applied in October'11 in 175. Hence, fall under priority group 4. Waiting for CO allocation. I hope that all BD applicants will see less hassle in coming days.

If DIAC follows their time then I believe u r almost there ...few more months I must say! But I dont know how strictly they follow the timings as below:

Things are moving much faster than what is mentioned as Standard. I believe more than 80%-90% cases sloved much earlier, 100% within Standard for sure - see the sheet complied by Username

On 23rd My CO Team 4 asked for Form 80 after 5 months of CO assignment. Don't know does it mean security check over or it will start now. He asked form Form 80 and Clearly mentioned I need to state my addresses over last 10 years.

Possibly. In few cases here they did ask for form 80 again and people got the grant soon after.

 

Usually Med/PCC call means checks are over. Are those up to date?

From the spread sheet it looks like DIAC is taking their time in issuing 176 visa for cat 3 :cry:
