Hi,

My name is Geoff and I am from the UK. I am a fully qualified vehicle mechanic on both diesel and petrol engines. I fit sun-roofs and I am an engine diagnostic tester. I am qualified on brakes,suspension,diagnostics,power steering, wheel fitting,sunroofs, to name just a few.

I also have to my advantage CTLLS, in teacing Motor Mechanics. This is equivalent to Australian cert IV in teaching and assessment to teach Motor Mechanics to students/apprentices.

Mechanics has been my main employment since leaving college and I have searched the internet for job opportunities in Australia.

I have family living in Bermagui, NSW and I wish to start a new life and career there.

I am requiring a sponser under the subclass 457 to enable me to work in Australia

I am a hard working individual who works equally as well on my own, or as part of a team, I am dedicated to the work I do and I am always prepared to give 100%. I hold a full driving licence for both car and motorcycle.

I have spent many years in the workshop, as also some time as assistant manager and also time in stores handling and ordering parts, but my main role has been that of a mechanic,ie. hands on. I have also spent time dealing with the genaral public, handling stock, general maintenance duties and working at heights for which I hold a cherry picker licence, however my first love is hands on mechanics which, I may add, I do extremely well, with the greatest precision and utmost care and attention.I have recently passed my CTLLS certificate ,( CERTIFICATE OF TEACHING IN THE LIFELONG LEARNING SECTOR ), which is the equivalent to Australia cert IV in teaching and assessment,to teach motor mechanics to students or apprentices.

I am a fit 51, with the mature attitude and positive commitment needed for a fulfilling career in motor mechanics.

Therefore would you please consider me for this position, please find enclosed attachments of certificates and work history/education and I look forward to hearing from you.

kind regards;

Geoff Etherington.
