gaz n family
Can somebody help with this? What is reverse flow air con? we have not heard of this reverse flow thingy. Obviously we know standard air con, that sucks out the warm air then cools it, blowing it back in. Is this its full name

olly
Usually a split system, I have one, it heats and cools as the other poster says. Very handy and especially the air cooling in summer, you must have it really to live here. My son is a fridgy (refrig mechanic/technician) and he installs a lot of them. They can be expensive but a heater plus a separate cooling system is also. You don't have to leave the windows open as you have to with evaporated aircon. Que Sera Sera
We had reverse cycle in our holiday rental and it was brilliant. We arrived on the 1st of July and although it was 18c during the day it dropped to 1 degree in the night and blerdy heck that was cold so the heating cycle was lovely. We only have evaporative aircon now and we will definatly have to get a fire before winter.
