Guest Coxy04 Posted March 6, 2011 DOES ANYONE KNOW, WITH LAST REMAINING RELATIVE VISA, HOW YOU GO ABOUT PROVING ONLY REMAINING RELATIVE IS 'FATHER'. SON IS 23, WE'RE ALL OFF TO OZ SOON, HE CAN'T GO UNDER ANY OTHER VISA, AGENT HAS SUGGESTED LAST REMAINING RELATIVE. SON HAS NO CONTACT WITH HIS FATHER. HOW WOULD YOU GO ABOUT GETTING PROOF OF THIS? PRESUMEABLY YOU COULD GET LAWYER TO DRAW SOMETHING UP, BUT HE'D ONLY HAVE YOUR WORD FOR IT THAT YOU HAD NO CONTACT. ANY IDEAS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED. THERE MUST BE MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH ABSENT PARENTS. THANKS:err:

If your son's father is still alive in the UK, it does not matter that your son has no contact with him, unfortunately, your son is not eligible for a last remaining relative visa. If your agent has suggested that this is possible, I suggest you take advice from a MARA registered agent. I have also sent you a PM. Is your son still in full-time education and financially dependent on you? If so you may be able to sponsor him for a child visa.
