LYNDAMUMFORD
Any thoughts anyone??? Had meds sent & uploaded by EHealth & this is listed on my case: 04.03.2011 Further Medical Results Referred Could it be that something has been queried?? hmmmm
essextoaus
Is there anything in your answers or from the medical that you think may have caused a concern? Did the doctor indicate at any point that something may have been a concern? Either way, be aware that if anything comes up abnormal (not suggesting that that abnormality may be serious or significant), then it will be referred. If you're not sure what the problem is, then it's VERY unlikely to be a cause of refusal so I'd not worry too much.
LYNDAMUMFORD
Thank you Essex, nothing that I am overly concerned about with me, spoke to panel Doctor & she advised that I did not need a GP letter for tablets I have been taking, so it's now just a bit of a waiting game to be honest. Jules37
Hi My sons were referred to oz but then changed a couple of days later to finalised. I was worried because we had together some depots done about his learning difficulties, our agent said that this happens a lot and not to worry. He said they would soon e-mail us if they had any concerns so try not to loose too much sleep over it. Jules

rgrangana
Hi My wife and new born son,s meds say, further Medicals were received on 18th May 2011. I hope this massage is better than having referred on the status page and hope that the backlog is only for those which were referred. when search this forum I Noticed that, medicals, those' status show Meds Received rather than referred, were finalized on the same day or within few days. Good Luck
zhanylka
I see no consistency in HOC work....... How do they finalise? Some people get their medicine finalised in a week or two........ others have to wait for months........... Ours was referred on April,11 and still no changes........... drmanhattan
Today, I just received an e-mail from HOC as follows; Thank you for your email. I apologise for the delay in replying. We do currently have a large backlog of medicals that are awaiting assessment and this is what is causing the delay. Your medical was referred on the 20/04/2011 and our Medical Officers of the Commonwealth are currently assessing medicals from the 30/03/2011. We are hoping to have your medical finalised within the next two months. I do remember few weeks ago someone mentioned that HOC were saying that they are processing medicals from 30/03/2011. They are still stuck on 30/03/2011. May jaw dropped. :elvis: What is going on in HOC. :arghh:
janice1uk
Ours were referref 29/03/11. Had email today stating they now want my son to see a specialist. I have to arrange this through original panel doctor. I am so mad as we had our medicals on 4 March why has it taken them so long. My son is Perfectly fit and healthy he is just small for his age. We did take a specialist report with us stating this. Is it worth putting my very concious 7 year old boy through more test (which he has already done eg blood hormone xrays) not sure it is as the outcome will be the same. HE is small but perfectly Healthy. What more do they want.

drmanhattan
janice1uk's post confirms that they are working on 30/03/2011 by now. By summing up all the information available, HOC's processing rate seems to be 2 days of records in a week. Since me and my wife's Medical results were referred on 20/04/2011 on their record, it may take about 10 weeks which means 2 and a half month according to the rate I presumed. It's awful. Now, everythings seems clear. More waiting. I hope they would not raise any further issues on our record when they finally asess our records. :angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha:angel_happy_face_ha

Your and your family medicals have been received and are currently undergoing assessment. If you require any further information please contact your allocated Case Officer. Global health will contact you if additional information is required" This seems to be a different response than the one received by others.... no mention of March 31  Anyways I hope they rush through all the medical referrals. Mine was referred on 2nd May (Shows on DIACs online application page)
