jsnowling
We hoping to move later this year to Redcliffe but we cant seem to find any info about dogs for this area. As we have a dog this is obviously important to us to live in an area where we can walk him plenty. Julie

One of the beaches at Clontarf you dog can run around or go for a swim, and at Brighton Park or Doggie Park as it is called is dog friendly. You won't have any probs

There's some tree's and a agility part and plenty of room to run around. Its a good place to socialize your dog. Goodluck with the move - Redcliffe is awesome! Guest BirtyinBrizy
We take our dog to Sandgate beach (10 mins away) at lowtide, its not an official dog beach but on the weekends you will find plenty of dogs and there owners walking along there. But word of warning I have heard of occasionally people being fined! (so far in 4yrs going every week we've been OK touch wood!) Theres a lovely sandy beach up at Bribie Island called Red Beach, (Turn right as you come off the bridge and head straight down that road for about 10mins) which is a dog beach (on lead). We've had some great days out there but it is about an hours drive from Redcliffe. I also think theres a small beach in Scarborough you can let the dog off for a swim..
