Guest sue11 Posted January 22, 2011 Hi I got my pregrant letter sublcass 176,,I want to go to Thailand for visa evidencing but when I check the website of DIAC ,it says the permanent visa cannot be processed.. I donot understand this.can i go to thailand Please help me on this matter. thanks in advance Im not too up on these visa status statements, however it seems likely that "the permanent visa cannot be processed" is due to the fact you are onshore and need to go offshore for processing to finalise. Maybe check with your case officer by phone / email to make sure. I'm sure somebody else who has had a pre-grant letter will be along shortly to confirm what this status means!!
