457 visa lodged 23 Dec 2010... anyone else waiting too?!

hi !

 

My 457 visa application was lodged with the DIAC on 23rd December 2010 for state NSW.

 

my lawyer in Sydney said at the time that it was only taking 2 weeks, but with Christmas etc it would prob take a little longer.

checking online my application this week it still just says:

 

23/12/2010 Application received - processing commenced

23/12/2010 Application fee received

 

my lawyer said on thursday that this means it hasnt been assigned to a case officer yet :huh:.

 

Would be great to hear from anyone waiting too !

 

cant wait to get to sydney!!
