Hi

Does anyone fancy meeting up for a coffee and a chat. I am missing the girls back in the UK.

Me and my husband are in our 30's and we have two children 6 and 3. We are living in the Mandurah area.

Hi Sam

We arrived in Perth last week, based in Rockingham, not far from Mandurah, if you fancy meeting up with me and hubbbie, we are in our 40's - young at heart!!!!

How long have you been in Perth and are you enjoying Mandurah, we were thinking of renting there to see what it is like. Hubbie and I posted today to make some new friends as it would be good to catch up with people from the site.

We can head down your way as we have bought a motorbike/cruiser. Let us know if you and the family would like to, we are both from London although I grew up in Oz.

Hope to hear from you guys.

Hi

We are also in Mandurah - would be great to meet up with some new friends!!

We have 3 children - 14, 8 and 4 and have been living here for over 2 years now. The foreshore in Mandurah is always a good place to meet up, plenty of space for the kids to run around!!

Look forward to hearing from you x:cute:

Hi there

Great to hear from you, we would love to meet up with you and your family. Mandurah foreshore sounds great. We are free every day so if you tell us when is best for you and your family we will be there. Do they have barbies there or would you prefer coffees for start, lunch??

Let us know what is best for you all and when and we will be there!

Thanks so much and really looking forward to meeting you all.

Hi we live in Secret Harbour and have been over here since February last year. We started off in Rockingham but didnt really like the area. I have a 15 year old son and a 22 year old daughter who is still in the UK. She finishes Uni next week and i think she is coming over for good around September time as she doesnt want to spend another Christmas on her own which is understandable.

Would like to make new friends but Mandurah foreshore is a big area so would need to be more specific lol!!

Hi, We are up for it, but hubby will be working for the next 3 weekends I'm affraid. Me & Sam can still come along. Dolphin key is also very nice. There's a little beach & plenty of grass to sit on. It doesn't get as busy as the foreshore & not as many seagulls or pelicans there to pinch your food LOL, but we're easy, let us know what you decide. X

Hi, we are a family of 4, me and my hubby and 2 boys 5 and 9 moving from Torquay in Devon to Perth in May 2011. Not sure where hubbys job will be based but have requested SOR and have mentioned that we like the look of Secret Harbour area. Hubby has been offered job on 457 visa, i will be looking to work once everything settled and am looking forward to be able to take career break.

would love to start making contact with people who have been through the big move and ones who are going through it at the moment!

Currently we are a family who enjoy outdoor living , sailing, diving, kayacking, camping, bar b ques, socialising with friends etc

Hi Guys

Thank you to everyone that replied to my post.

How about we all meet up on Sunday 23rd January 2011 at 12pm at the Dolphin Quay beach (which is over the bridge from the harbour). There is a park for the children to play on and maybe we could all bring a picnic.

Any suggestions welcome!!

See you there!!!!!!!!

Hi guys we are The Thompsons and live in Port Kennedy which is just up the road from Secret Harbour we have Two boys also 3 and 6. Like yourselves we love the outdoors and the lifestyle in oz is awesome we have been he over two years now and are well settled. I still remember when we first got here it was very scary but so many people made us feel welcome it was unreal if you need any more advice or would like to meet when you get here then just message us and can arrange something. Funny we got here in May so at least you will be able to get used to the weather gradually as you build in to next summer because we do get some scorchers

Anyway very exciting times for you guys so hope everything is going to plan.

Speak soon The Thompsons

Hi Cazz

Yes i am blonde with darker hair underneath (its called roots i think lol). Probably wearing alice band to keep my hair out of my face and tied back. Hubby a bit plump looking with dark short hair and Joshua towers above us at 15 with blonde sandy coloured hair and looking like a streak of bacon.

Yes hope the rain keeps off as its pouring down at the moment here, mind you the gardens need it. :chatterbox:
