advice my husband has no job electrical maintenance engineer on 176 visa to victoria

i need advice my husband is an electrical maintence engineer and we on 176 visa to vic, i am an accounting technician, we both have no jobs we are from UK ,we are going to melbourne end of february 2011 and have 4 kids

 

do you think we should leave the kids here and try to find job first because we can leave them with our brother and wife for a few weeks and get them when one of us got a job,

 

or

 

we can risk and go together with the kids the other thing is the money that we have i feel that is not enough if we dont have jobs, please advice

We applied through the job websites on-line. Attched a cover letter and in the first sentance stated that we had 176 perm residence and would be arriving end Jan, beg. Feb 2011. Hubby had his interniew via the telephone and contract was sent by PDF within the week. Best of luck Leila x
