Anyone that has applied and been granted this how much roughly do they expect to see in funding in your bank and also is the equity in your house ok to use as funding? A bit confused about it all at the moment.

Hi there,

No you can't use equity in your house. Seemingly you can't use cash isas or other investments either. It has to be money in a bank account. We are a family of 5, and I think we had to prove funds equating to about $ 37,000.

We were gobsmacked, because how many people have that lying around in an account.

We managed to prove it eventually though. I know what your next question will be and I couldn't possibly comment.
