Okay so I have reached meltdown! I have been going round and round in circles (second time I have typed this because the last one disappeared before I posted!).

Could anyone please advise temporary living accommodation, holiday lets, caravan parks motels etc.... We are a family of five, hubby will be working in central Geelong and we have been looking at the very bottom area of Geelong.

Many thanks Leila x :arghh:

have a look at a site called movingtomelbourne.co.uk. It is run by one of the mods called Kate who used to be in Melbourne but now is apparently enjoying the sun up north or should it be the rain???

Moving to Melbourne: Accommodation Available in Melbourne

If you are still struggling you could check places inland like Colac or places closer to melbourne where hubby could commute back to geelong by train? or car.

LOL we had brilliant blue skies today and a temp of 32, it's still 25 outside. Don't talk to me about humidity though and trying to dry clothes:arghh:

Okay, so I am laughing. Can't believe it (Victor Meldrew moment!!!). We do all this ourselves and can't make a decision on what to do when it comes to living arrangements. Have PM'd moveingmelbourne (my voice of reason:biggrin:). Leila x

Hi all,

With only 17 days till we fly out we've secured a lovely place, reasonably priced as a temporary place with the option of staying longer if needed, nothing like leaving it till the end, what an adrenalin rush that was!

If it helps anyone we used http://www.ozhouserental.com a lady called Tracy was fab.
