Form 80..Advice needed

I have to fill form 80 for me and my wife and we have to list down all our bro and sis but prob is that my wife bro date of birth is conflicting with her date of birth by mistake and never be rectified(for example my wife DOB is 7th july1980 and her brother DOB is 15 june 1980) and this mistake cant be rectified as it is present in all educational docs.Can i omit to list down her brother or it will create problem.?Do they throughly check the brother sister bio data?what should i do?Expert advise is needed.

You cant omit family members. If they find out you have not dissclosed something that can be worse!

 

I would talk to your agent and send in a cover letter explaining the situation

well give the correct date of birth for your brother in law and have a affidivet done by your brother in law in any court or Justice of Peace to delcare the incorrect date of Birth and the correction done there after. (keep this document for future use) as DIAC will not request proof of birth of your brother in law at this stage, but may ask later if he decides to give you a visit or so in Australia.

If i dont declare bro in law name how much risk is there?do they throughly check the record of bro and sis?to make correction in date of birth is next to impossible here as it is written all other educational docs it will create a biggest prob.

if they found out will they ask me the reason not mentioning his name?or they might refuse the Visa?i m in trouble and my mind has stopped working now

Just write what written on documents and send explanation to CO

 

You married to girl and have no legal obligation for any right or wrongs related to in-laws

 

You cannot be held resposible and denied visa for some mistake that you have no knowledge at time it was happened.

 

However, you will be held reponsible if you hide or lie on form 80

If you give false or misleading information to the DIAC about a matter that could have been taken into account when granting a visa, not was taken into account, or allow someone else to do so, you can have a visa refused/cancelled even if you did not know the information was false or misleading.
