furkew Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 be careful when looking at hail damaged vehicles. We had thousands of local cars in dealerships damaged in a massive hailstorm just over a year ago, and there were "hail sales" everywhere, but the bargains were few and far between. They tended to mark up the vehicles at the full list price, then offer "substantial" discount. In most cases it wasnt any cheaper than a new discounted vehicle. Its end of year car sales everywhere, so they would need to be VERY cheap IMO to make it interesting. Also, a lot of hail damage is difficult to have repaired (depending which panels are dented), so it will either always be there, or cost a lot to repair. Having a lot of hail damage can also mean you will be unable to get fully comp insurance. Just a few things to think about.
