Just thought to let those that are looking for a car and live in Brisbane area Kia at springwood are doing a BOGOF deal on cars will try and find a link but just thought give you a heads up if looking for a vechileother dealers are also doing deals on cars that have minor damage on from recent hail storm someone may get as bargain :chatterbox:

be careful when looking at hail damaged vehicles.

 

We had thousands of local cars in dealerships damaged in a massive hailstorm just over a year ago, and there were "hail sales" everywhere, but the bargains were few and far between.

 

They tended to mark up the vehicles at the full list price, then offer "substantial" discount. In most cases it wasnt any cheaper than a new discounted vehicle. Its end of year car sales everywhere, so they would need to be VERY cheap IMO to make it interesting.

 

Also, a lot of hail damage is difficult to have repaired (depending which panels are dented), so it will either always be there, or cost a lot to repair. Having a lot of hail damage can also mean you will be unable to get fully comp insurance.

 

Just a few things to think about.
