Hi Alex

The forum had around 3000 visits from people in Poland this year, although I can't tell you what % were members and what % were guests. I know we've had a couple of members register with .pl email address's, so hopefully someone will get in touch.

I don`t mind speaking English at all,

so what`s your situation then, I can see your location is London, are you planning on moving to Oz? Got visas yet?

Got v176 with WA sponsorship just a few days ago. I am planning to move over around September but want to do it on the wheels. It means to drive all way long in camper van.

I also considering option Mandurah, but not sure yet. First I want to make round-the-state trip and then decide where to start new life. What about you? When you wonna leave?

how the heck are you gonna do that???? Is it just you or do you have a family?

We`d like to move asap but it`s not so easy. We have 2 little daughters, 4 and 11 months. My hubby needs a licence to do his job in Oz. We also have 176 visas, granted in Dec 2010.

So why M then? Have you ever been there? Aparently it`s a great place to live, especially for young families but we`ll see when we get there.

It's not as big challenge as you thing. Many folks does it every year. It' s just a bit more expensive than flights and container and takes more time, but you don't waste this time, you have fantastic adventure and it's probably the only opportunity we can do it. My girlfriend is going with me, no kids yet, we did the same way round-the -Europe trip, round-the-Australia and round-the- N.America, time for Asia.

I don't say Mandurah is destination, it's just the option. Among a few other cities we would like to stay in, it has probably got the best recommendations.

It's nothing to do about the licenses now, we start emailing them right before we leave and book the exams when know when arrive.

Let's stay in touch and inform each other about the steps we've done, who knows maybe we meet when got down under.

sounds amazing, good luck with your adventure

so what do you do then and how long is your course going to take, or do you only take an exam? have you got your ARTC done yet?

Are you electrician? I am. I don't need to be assessed by ARTC as before I appllied for visa I had to get skill assessed by VETASSESS. After positive theory test and practical exam they had issued my OTSR and posted it to UK. Now, what I need to do is apply directly to Energy Safety to book course and exam. What I was told it takes 2 weeks and is very easy to pass. A few weeks later they send you the license. By this time I can enjoy OZ, look for job and save money sleeping in the camper van. What's your plan?

we are in a bit different situation, my hubby is an Instrument Technician and he had to get TRA first.

We`ve just had good news today and it looks like Chris doesn`t need the licence to do his job after all, well, unless he wants to, which he will in the nearest future. We`ve just heard from a company that was interested in Chris and they are even more interested now :-) So fingers crossed, if everything goes well, we should be in Oz by the 3rd March (that`s with 2 weeks holiday in South Africa on the way) :-)))))

Not too much sunshine buddy? Africa, then Australia right after winter in UK?

Don't got mad about it.

Good luck with your move over.

Let me know how you doing when you there.

This is fantastic. I would to have loved to have done this.

Can you share with us your route? I'm so interested in what way you will take.

Good luck

Hi ESSEX to AUS. The plan is:

Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, East Timor, OZ. I didn't check the visas yet, sorting out the transport first.

What about you? Are you going to do same trip soon? What's your plan?
