Youth Workers?

Hi all, I am new to this and have been told that I am to loose my temp contract with my local council in March. I am currently at university and finish my study in July......Should I try to obtain a job and a new life in Australia I am wondering. I am 42 and have 2 grown up children who will not come with me....so I will be taking a massive risk and leaving my children in England......Mixed emotions for me.....

Any advice greatly recieved...I was told that If i had a diploma I could get fast tracked?

Hi Adele

It is always a hard decision on whether or not to leave children no matter how old they are. However, you have to enjoy life whilst you can. It may be that you decide to stay in the UK to be close to them, but what happens if in a couple of years they decide to emigrate somewhere, you will always be left thinking what if. I am not sure what your occupation is and what visa you would be coming on but I think it's a case of now or never especially as you have your age against you.
