Guest The Ropey HOFF Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 well said Al we have it good and i hope things are good for everyone. merry christmas.
ausdreamer Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Really meaningful and so very true. We always light a candle every year and make a toast remembering everyone. The holiday season can be challenging for those who have lost a loved one and are grieving the holiday without him or her. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Tallyho! Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Couldn't agree more. Wish everyone a safe and secure Christmas, all the very best xx :christmaswreath:
TheOptimist Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 :notworthy: Well said poo man, agree completely. :wubclub:
gaz n family Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Totally agree with your comments but i hope you dont mind i have added to one sentance that quite a few people dont realise and therefore they go un noticed and un thanked. our soldiers all over the world fighting for us to keep us safe Likewise thoughts to the Sailors of the Royal Navy and Air Men of the Air Force, woh are also in harms way daily in Afghanistan, still in Iraq and deployed in other parts of the world projecting others. Be them patroling the Gulf, warding off pirates, fighting the drugs war afloat and protecting others from their remote Airbases.
whopperdaisy Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Definitely... and thoughts too to the many families with loved ones serving. My air force nephew is unable to be with family for Christmas but fortunately back at base unlike many of his colleagues. Their families will as usual get on with making the season as magical as possible for the kids but there is always a gap that is deeply felt.
Guest guest30085 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 :hug::hug::hug: Nice to see you back Al and a lovely OP also :notworthy:
ali Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Merry Christmas to you too. This year at work, instead of sending Christmas cards to each other we decided to raise money for charity - we're not a big clinic but raised $275 for tear australia.
PommyPaul Posted December 24, 2010 Posted December 24, 2010 Good one alan and a Merry chrissy from pommypaul to all yous alot!
