Guest rabbit68 Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Hi I am a british mature student age 42 studying for a doctorate in clinical psychology on 3 year student visa. Finish in 12 months at 43. I want to go on to study medicine. Would this be possible? Are there age limits? Cheers
Guest The Pom Queen Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Hi Unfortunately I am not qualified to answer your question, but what I wanted to ask is are you looking at trying to obtain PR eventually? Kate
Guest rabbit68 Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Its not a primary concern on my list, if it happens then great if it doesn't thats ok to. Why?
Guest rilou Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Hi, As far as I know, there is no age limit to applying for a student visa. Cheers.

As long as you have the money, you should be OK as far as the DIAC (visa) is concerned. You might want to enquire about a possible place sooner rather than later. It is unlikely that a course provide will welcome the flak for applying age discrimination. There are advantages in studying regionally.
