gareth and lisa Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 We have just gone through an online application for SA for a skilled sponsored visa. we have printed it all off and have a reference number it is asking for the following::: 1) application coversheet ok, have 2) skills ass, ok, have 3) ielts, ok, have 4) passport copy, ok have then it states>> ** if applicable "evidence of any licensing or registration requirements for your nominated" I am a nurse not registered with APRHA but i do have a letter from the NMC stating that i am registered and that my details are with the ANMC. Is this letter ok to send off to SA??? It states that you have 30 days after submitting so didnt want to submit unless i have the correct documents. Regards Lisa
Guest JK2510 Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I'm sure hellsbells will be able to help you. Sorry I can't help you. Goodluck!
Lil Bev Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 That should be fine. I havn't applied with AHPRA yet so i just sent them the framework for the assesssment of overseas nurses off the AHPRA website to show i know how to apply for registration. I hope this is enough, i checked the online tracking this morning and my application has been assessed but it states that no decision has been made yet. I have asked this question previously and someone told me they just sent a copy of the receipt of payment to AHPRA and theirs was approved. Hope this helps. Bev

For me applying to Queensland for SS, I had to provide them with evidence that I had applied to AHPRA for my registration. I sent them a copy of my AHPRA application and proof of postage to AHPRA. I'm sure they mean Australian registration not NMC registration. I was granted my SS within the day but now we are coming to the end of the process and awaiting a CO, I am still waiting on AHPRA to give me eligibilty, which means Queensland are unable to forward my SS form 1100 to DIAC, which in turn means I can't have a CO. Oh dear Lord, now the extra documents requested by AHPRA, are in Sydney, but got a call today from the postal service saying they need a person to sign for my documents on arrival at Brisbane, so back on the blower tonight and its just 1 thing after another with AHPRA. Lisa, please do not delay in getting your registration application in because you don't want this to be the thing holding up the grant of a visa like me. Meds finalised, PCC'S sent, both frontloaded, if it hadn't of been for AHPRA I am sure I would of had my visa this week or at least a CO.... Annette got her CO last week, fortunately for her she got registration when it was individual state registration. Sorry for rabbiting on. Geting tired now.All my waking hours is checking and chasing AHPRA........:arghh::cry: Hope this helps.

Im still worried about the amount of experience you need for SA, thats what messed up WA as you need 7yrs and i only have 2. Im also worried that i only have a diploma and i read something on AHPRA webite that said diplomas are being accepted from 2014?? my agent has turned rubbish since things are not going to plan, she didnt even advise me that we could no longer apply for the visa?? I take it you are a nurse?? are you aware about the amount of exp req & if diplomas are accepted?? Lisa

I received my sponsorship today so the framework for the assessment of nurses must have been enough for them. still not sure as to when apply to AHPRA, however it seems they are picking up with the speed of applications. Did you find anything out about the diploma thing? I have an advanced diploma and not sure if they will be happy with this, i should also have 3 years experience by the time we hope to get over there. Hope you have managed to sort out things with the agent or got rid of them!!! Bev
