I have posted elsewhere about the difficulties we have been having finding before school provision in Mount Eliza (we have recently purchased a house there). We are currently looking at our 5 year old attending a school outside the area that provides before school care. Frankston Primary School on Davey Street provide this and does not have a catchment area. Does anyone have an opinion, good or bad, about Frankston Primary School? Many Thanks.

Hi

Would be very interested in what happened with schools.

We are hoping to come out to Mount Eliza in Sept and will be looking for schools for my 6 year old and some day care for a couple of days for my 3 year old.

Thanks for help in advance

Hi, You will love Mount Eliza! We live in Frankston South right next to Mount Eliza. I have children who go to Derinya Primary School which has a great reputation and the kids love it. It prioritises kids in the catchment first but you could always contact the principle to find out if there are any other spaces. They have before and after school care but currently no holiday care (mine go to the council /camp australia one that runs out of overport school. As for your 3 year old, ABC on frankston flinders rd/sycamore road is great. My girls went there as does my 3 year old and they all love it. It is long day care but you can basically drop off and pick up when you like. If you work it is good as it is open all year, some centres close for 2 weeks over christmas. Not too sure of day care in Mount Eliza but is a good area so I don't think you will have any problems with quality! Hope this helps.
