Hello there to all the lucky people who are already out there.

We hope to move to WA oneday, hopefully to the south of Perth. Is there anybody who lives down that way? Can you give me a bit of advice please. I was there over 10 years ago so the prices will have gone up. Can anyone give me an idea on what the cost of living is now (just the basic foods and things), how much rent we should expect to pay for a 2/3 bedroom house, and things like bills and petrol and a car. We really need to get realistic about the whole thing and see what its really like before making the move.

Thanks in advance for you time

Hi there,

We have lived here for 8.5 years and will never go back to the Uk, we live like Kings compared to how we were in the UK, yes things have gone up over time but not that much. As for renting you can rent a 3, 4 bedroom house in a good area for approx $320 a week, depending on where you go and how old the house is. We live in Falcon, Mandurah and its a fantastic lifestyle. Trust me If we can make it here and have a further two children and manage comfortably then anyone can.

You only live once and your life is what you make it, I say go for it.

If you need any help at all, just say!

Hope this helps with your decision

Catch y lata
