Moving to Perth

Hello there to all the lucky people who are already out there.

 

We hope to move to Perth oneday, hopefully to the south of Perth. Is there anybody who lives down that way? Can you give me a bit of advice please. I was there over 10 years ago so the prices will have gone up. Can anyone give me an idea on what the cost of living is now (just the basic foods and things), how much rent we should expect to pay for a 2/3 bedroom house, and things like bills and petrol and a car. We really need to get realistic about the whole thing and see what its really like before making the move.

Do remember though that you'll be earning $ not pounds so no good converting back into pounds
