Submit another online application to ACS?

Hi,

 

I already submitted an online application to ACS and they provide me a reference number but two issues Im facing right now.

 

1) I was'nt able to print the online application form. Im reading through the forums I found out that retrieving it could be difficult. It seems that you need to mail this together with other documents before they will assigned an assessor and start processing your document. My status till now since I ssubmitted it Dec4 is waiting to be allocated.

 

2) During my application I provided my credit card details but unkwowingly I give the old card number that's the reason why my transaction was decline. I read in the guideline that If the payment using credit card will not be successful at first try they try it again. If it still fails they will inform you and you need to provide alternate payment option.

 

Since I havent completed my payment for my application, Im planning of doing another online application that will provide me chance to print the online application form plus provide them my correct credit card details. Im seeing this as faster way of correcting my previous mistakes from my first application rather than waiting for ACS to reply and provide me solution. Im just worried that they may not allow this. Has anybody experience this problem before? I need your input.....

ACS will not start your application until they receive you documents by mail (not email). So I don't think it necessary to lodge another online application. Just correct it with your mail of your documents is OK.

I have not experienced this problem before but since you failed to complete your payment then your application will be considered as invalid (thus it will not be processed or even looked at)

 

I reckon you can start a new application now as your skills assessment might take awhile.

Skills assessment does take a while. We've been waiting for a new assessment since mid-September! We know who our co is, but there is no contact with that person at all, so we just keep an eye on tracking system. "In process" status doesn't change and I wonder if we would have any use of the new code. :sad: Maybe in new points system...

Hi Ronald,

 

The ACS will only attempt charging your credit card once. If this fails, you will normally need to organise either an international bank cheque/draft or international funds transfer to the ACS according to their instructions.
