Emi
Hey everyone, Am new to this site having been reccomended to visit by a mate, who's looking to move to oz soon, who said how friendly and helpful everyone on here seems to be. I'm considering moving across soon(ish) but am kinda nervous as will more than likely be making the move on my own...has anyone else done this? if so was it a good/bad experience? any opinions on the matter would be gratefully recieved! Guest KP Nuts
Hi Em, and to PIO, sorry can't help you with your question I have oh and three kids, but I would consider you to be very brave for even thinking about going by yourself, will you meet up with your friend???? Good luck.. Mrs KP Nuts
Emi
Thanks for the very sparkly welcome...so pretty! Yeah probably meet up with them. It's actually one of my big brothers and his g.friend that could be moving out there so may be able to live with them for a bit. So won't be totally on me lonesome but they're newly engaged and don't wanna be hanging around too much! We do have family over there but they are all over in Perth and my bro would be in Sydney....not very well planned if you ask me!!!! Em.

Guest maxxangel
Hiya Em, I'm afraid I can't speak from personal experience as we are making the move as a family. However, my sister-in-law went out for just under a year. Her experience was slightly different as she actually went with friends, but ended on her own as they went back to boyfriends or met someone. She says she made friends so easily where she was (Sydney) that it was never a problem for her and she was happy to stay on. She eventually travelled home on her own and has made no comment on it, so I assume that it went smoothly. :spinny: Cara
ali
Hi Em, I'm sure someone came over on their own recently, (can't remember the memebers name) where are you heading for. Good luck - you'll make friends if you're working. Ali
