Those of us that applied in August are looking at 5 months and the department is quoting 5-6 months. From what we can see they pretty much stick with their timelines and a few lucky ones get through sooner so will need to get a shuufle on and then perhaps if it doesnt come in time look at going on a tourist visa and then popping out of Aus and back in to activate your parner visa... there is a thread on that open too...
