Guest smeetab Posted December 6, 2010 hi all, i was just wondering how long it's taken everyone else to be assigned a case officer for an onshore partner visa? the letter we recieved from immigration said the waiting time would be 6-8 weeks but its been about 3 months now and we havn't heard anything! i've called immigration twice since but they said i'm still on their waiting list so i just wanted to hear how long a realistic timeline would be. thanks alot Smeeta Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest pup3ydarren Posted December 7, 2010 Hi there, I applied since May at Sydney CBD but still no response from them, I know of couple others who did the same and applied way before me are still not getting any answers from DIAC. Guest Rexi Posted December 8, 2010 Hello Smeeta, I was in your exact situation and after 4 months the only contact I had from my case officer was when my visa grant letter arrived saying he was no longer my CO and asking me not to contact him regarding second stage processing!
