Guest michaelh
Hi, I am looking to take our jetski and trailer from the UK to OZ and was wondering if the import licence is the same as a car one? and do I need 1 for the jetski and 1 for the trailer? Thanks for any help you can give Michael:wacko:
Guest The Pom Queen
Hi Michael Sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't know the answer so contacted a man who did, here is the reply: Hi Kate No problem at all, basically the customer would only need import approval for the jetski trailer and not the jetski. The Import approval is the same as the Motor car application form, so the customer would only need to complete this for the trailer. If the Jetski is less than 7 metres in length and less than 2.5 metres in width then Duty would not be applicable on bringing the Jetski into Australia. They would only be subject to 10%GST. I hope this helps and if the client has any further problems or questions, please do not hesitate to pass them my details.
