I've just received the following email:

Dear XXXXXXXXXXX,

Thank you for your application for Victorian Government nomination under the 176 - Sponsored visa scheme.

We have recently made a change to the assessment process which requires you to complete an additional sponsorship declaration, and return the signed document to the Skilled and Business Migration Program. This declaration confirms that all parties understand the conditions and limitations of Victorian Government sponsorship and you should ensure that you read and understand this document prior to signature and submission.

If we do not receive the declaration from you within two weeks, the application will be deemed invalid and your file closed.

We look forward to receiving the declaration.

Please quote Reference Number : SS-2010-02XXX in all of your communication to us.

Kind regards,

Skilled and Business Migration Program

Now, the interesting thing is that the case ID they quote is the old one... Have anyone else received such an email?

Anyway, printed, signed, scanned and sent it back right away:biggrin:

Yes, I've received it today and post it above. I am sure I have completed it on 4th Nov. and submitted. Why they asked me to resend?

Print the form --> Sign it --> Scan it --> Send it..

Once they receive it you can see your id getting changed.

This is part of first level of screening..

Cheers

Seban

Pretty sttrange. I did not get this eMail requesting another declaration. I've received a mail just yesterday asking me to finish my uncomplete application so it seems that my mail-address seems to be right at least.

To the ones who received this mail. Is this declaration different to the one you've submitted initially?

Cheers

Uli

Edit: VIC page is down.

I have sent the declaration form just a few min ago. What is their next step? Do they request from all applicants to send declaration form again or is it a gleam of approval?

It is indeed a good sign . I am waiting and waiting for this. but so far :arghh: no emails

Congrats Mate !

No mails yet macho... So sad :(:(

I got a feeling that they are looking into ACSO assessment holders first. If that is the case, then you'll get one soon.

I haven't got any emails from VIC, I guess it is related with the specialisations. My ICT specialisation is C#.

Boy mine too. ANZSCO - SE :cute: BTW how they differ .net and c#?

Yes I have a big doubt how they decide the specilisation for new ANZSCO IT people such as Software Engineer, Developer programmer. Is it only based on the CV?

I guess so, I don't think that they have enough time to go through all the procedures which ACS did for determine specialization . if they do so, it will be like free assesment again :chatterbox:
