Have you got new ANZSCO from ACS?

No Bun! ACS is slower than a snail, still in "processing"

BTW did you get a separate letter from employer stating your specialisation ? C# etc. ?

or

You only sent them your old ACS assessment with 2231-79 (specialisation) letter ?

I noticed from Chinese forum that VIC's assessment has move ID 45XX, so I guess all Dec apps will be finalized soon. My ID is 41XX and still waiting. Does that mean I am neither attractive nor boring to them? At least they didn't refuse me at their first sight.:jiggy:

Folks,

How many weeks do i need to wait to get the reference no. email once i applied for Vic SS?? Thank you :notworthy:

I had mine within two days but this was back in November last year when the online-system still worked. Some here received it within days, some others waited for more than a month. If you're not sure whether you already have one or not you should contact the VIC SMP guys.

The chance for a response should be a lot better now since most of the applications have been finished.

Good luck

Uli

No one can answer that question for sure except for Vic itself. I'd say if it's been say 3 or 4 weeks, you can safely drop them a polite email and ask for the same.

Good luck!!

Guess, you got it confused. The OP want to know about the Vic SS app (hence there canbe no paper-based apps) and not the DIAC app (filed after getting Vic SS)

Please could you add me to the list...

After a few years of pondering and regret about turning down job in QLD in 2008, an unexpected change in life circumstances has lead me to re-opening the Oz plan but this time in VIC (where i wanted to be all along). A few weeks after applying for SS have past and already become obsessed with checking my email each morning - am anticipating this does not change until the Visa's in the passport but patience is not my best virtue!!

mada07,

It's not the popularity of this forum that matters but the people here (each and everyone of us) who make it exciting and worth every minute of our time. What say? :cute:

Hi Vikings,

any idea about bellow statement in my 475 visa.

"Period of stay 03 years stay on each arrival " . What they mean by EACH ARRIVAL?

I thought i'll given 3 years visa from initial arrival only ? any ideas????

Btw, didnt see any approval this week from VICs. :dull:

Hi MACHO,

Maybe it means that you can enter and re-enter multiple times during the 3 year period.

I saw your earlier post and was surprised that no one replied to it. Surely, there are people on this forum that were granted the same visa.

PS.

maybe you could call DIAC to find exactly what it means.

Its 3 years from your first arrival see extract from Regulation, its a system problem that DIAC knows about but has not fixed.

475.511 1) If the applicant satisfied the primary criteria for the grant of the visa, and is in Australia at the time of grant — a temporary visa permitting the holder to travel to, enter and remain in Australia until 3 years after the date of grant.

(2) If the applicant satisfied the primary criteria for the grant of the visa, and is outside Australia at the time of grant — a temporary visa permitting the holder to travel to, enter and remain in Australia until 3 years after the date of first entry.

(3) If the applicant satisfied the secondary criteria for the grant of the visa — a temporary visa permitting the holder to travel to, enter and remain in Australia until the date specified for the applicant who satisfied the primary criteria for the grant of the visa.

Hi, They have mention visa expiry date which is exactly 3 years(Apr/2014) from the grant date. But I could travel up to Mar/2012 and If I travel Jan/2012, Can i stay up to Jan/2015 ?

They have contradicted statements in visa approval letter.

HI again.

Have you tried checking your visa entitlement details using 'VEVO' application?

Maybe things will get clearer if you do that, since it has a straightforward format.

Hope it helps,
