colin&lorraine
Hi we have recently moved to Brisbane living in Kedron at the mo. Are there any planned meet ups that we could join in with as we are feeling a bit isolated. Lorraine and Colin
Guest guest30038
Hi Colin and Lorraine, There are a couple of PIO families apart from ourselves in Bracken Ridge. If you fancy a meet at my place, pm me and I can arrange for them to be here. kev
Guest Michael Rimmer
There are a few of us who have been arranging a monthly meet up in Brisbane - the first couple were in New Farm park and Rocks Riverside Park. The next one is scheduled for Wellington Point on the 27th November. I have copied in the message - this is in the socialising and meet ups part of the forum. The meet ups are normally held in parks as that helps the many of us that have kids. We all bring some food and drink and fire up the free bbqs for the cooking. Look forward to meeting you all there. ------------------------------------------------- Brisbannittes - November Meet Brisbannittes! The Rocks Riverside Park meet a couple of weeks ago was fantastic. Everyone seemed to have a great time – especially the kids what with all the playground equipment and pools to cool off in! It was another gloriously bright and hot day, so the weather has certainly been on our side! Speaking of which, we’re proposing the next event is on the 27 November at Wellington Point at 11am (so that we can get a good spot), to give the Baysider’s amongst us a more reduced travel time! We’ll advise exact location / address in due course. Once again, we’ll post this on PIO in case we have missed anyone’s email address and also if you know anyone who would like to be included in this email just let us know their email address and we will add them. Finally, we’ve set up a group on Facebook – ‘Brisbannittes’! If you’re on FB, then look us up and we’ll add you to the membership! All the best – and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
