Nope. All the utilities are yours..........rates and water are the landlords, unless you use more water than the allowance and then you pay the difference. No TV licence.

Hi

As kev said normally the landlord pays the rates and the water bill, but some landlords set a limit on what they pay for the water, if you go over the limit you pay the excess.

Some furnished rentals will include the electricity.

Normally you will have to pay for

Excess water use

Electricity

telephone

internet

gas ( where available)

You normally have to keep the grounds tidy and this will mean cutting the grass either yourself or paying for it to be done.

in Queensland you pay for water only if there is a meter, you do not have to pay the sewerage component. No meter no charge!

Hi

I can only comment on renting furnished and how we charge. The landlord will normally cover rates and water rates, and more often than not water usage (because we want the gardens retic'd and kept nice), and lawn mowing, again cos we want the gardens kept nice, and if there is a pool sometimes pool maintenance. Generally you will be responsible for all other bills, Gas, Electric, Foxtel, phone, internet etc.

Hope this helps
