I sure hope so!!!!!!!! Counting the hours till the new working week..... :wideeyed:

How sad am I when I actually look forward to Monday mornings! Wish the DIAC staff could work weekends! Need to be up at 4am on Monday so am going to call DIAC to get confirmation that I'm in Cat 2. Never phoned them before, so not sure whether they'll be able to tell me.

I have just sent an email to aspc to see if it had updated about 2 minutes ago!! Thanks for posting. We lodged on 7th May 2010 but being pregnant i am happy to wait a little longer before we get a CO as I can't do my meds yet.

Good luck to all ACT SMP'ers this week who lodged before 1 May 2010:jiggy:

I don't get it! There are people who applied way before May 10 who haven't got a Case Officer yet. I applied Dec 09. Last week, people who applied Oct 09 were being allocated a CO.

Last week was really random, there was no order to it at all. Looks like maybe they have got their act together a bit more this week.

I hope they do process in date order of apps being lodged, it's the fairest way and then you know where you stand.

Are you from Vic or ACT? If you are from Vic, I reckon you should try contacting DIAC.

@claireg - You should still be able to do your meds, they usually grant an exception to would-be mothers to skip x-rays, a MARA agent should be able to clarify this.

Sorry, didn't see your post. 9Must hae bben replying at same time)

That's alright, none of the ACT'ers have got a CO yet, we should start seeing some movement this week.

I don't know if they are doing it in date order as I lodged Dec 09. Although, if they are still just looking at Vic's, until ACT applications get looked at this week, then it could be in order. (I'm ACT)

ACT sponsored applicants have not yet been allocated COs. This will happen from today onwards.... hopefully !!

We could do our meds in dec / jan if requested but for me personally i feel it would be too close to my due date. We don't live in mainland UK so would have to fly to manchester and seeing as though I am due in 10 weeks that would / may be tricky as the airlines can be funny about pregnant women flying after 33 weeks. We could get the ferry to liverpool but in dec / jan the ferry is hideous because of the rough irish seas and I am no good with sea sickness!!

We would also still have to get meds for the new baby so it would mean 2 trips to manchester.

So i am slightly hoping that they do start processing in date order and that we get a CO sometime in January so we can go and get them done in Feb in one go.

Fair enough claireg, taking care of your health should be the top priority, but, you do have an interesting few months ahead, a new baby(ies), hopefully a CO soon leading to the visa, migration to a new country.... 2011 definitely looks exciting for you...:-)

woohoo Connie, turn us PINK

Got email from CO in the early hours, after seeing the aspc email yesterday saying they were processing apps before 1 May 2010 we were very surprised to get CO today.

Best thing as well is they have given us to 15 March 2011 to get our meds & PCC done because they already know that I am pregnant, which is a big relief.

Hope all ACT SMP'ers get to hear the good news today too.

WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO

Congratulations Claireg. You must be soooo thrilled !

I cannot keep my eyes off my laptop and cellphone as I'm logged into PomsinOz all the time now. I even check at odd hours of the morning just to see if there is an update.

And good luck for the birth of your baby, at least you dont have to stress about whether to get medicals done now, and you cant as you're nearly due, so you can just relax and wait until after the birth
