Is this when further investigation is needed? I received email from HOC today, stating that my medicals has been assessed and finalised. Yes, our medicals are finalised and no need to be referred. We had medicals done on 13th May, and the results reached sydney on 27th May. I still can´t believe it.....It took almost 2 years.....I cried like a baby when I saw the email last night.... I am not sure if I should become PINK on this thread, since I have withdrawned my SS from NSW, so I could receive the 175 visa.... My CO confirmed to me on monday the withdrawn, and yesterday I received the 175. I am really happy, but also really anxious...Now it´s for real.... I would like to thank PIO....I am not british, but this forum helped me sooo much, that I feel at home here. Special thanks to Gollywobbler, Taz, VickyMel, Austranglian, Colorana and so many others who helped me to get here. Thanks!! I have applied for 176 visa SMP for ACT.( as a office manager) Act state has grant the sponsher on 15 november 2010. we apply to diac on 10 dec 2010. C.O. assigned on 12 Jan 2011.and to request to submit the medical and pcc. we submit all the requested document on 10 feb 2011. On 5th may 2011 I write a mail to C.O. for status of our Visa. The C.O. reply as that the internal and external checking is going on. we could be finalise within 3 months. I want to share ur experience about ur application . And i want to know that you also gone through external and internal checking.and how time they took and what kind to checking they do. Thanks... Baks.....you will get your visa, dont worry, be positive, you are not alone. If you see my timeline you will understand. 475-appln 22-sept-09, CO--01-feb-11, Medicals-07feb11, PCC+ ref. letters-01-mar-11, after that no news at all sent 2 emails to CO but not responding at all, it is more than 3months, now 4th month. Based on grants so far, I think DIAC picking up applns based on appln type, they are clearing 175, 176 and other priority occupations which are very critical in Australia these days. Thanks, Rehman Hi Rehman, Definitely this means you have a CO and you should expect your grant soon. Normally documents status is set to met when CO has already verified everything. Keep your fingers crossed..... I think documents set to met means your CO has checked your documents and verified and now updated the status as met. So, you definitely have something to cheer as you have a CO. How much time he/she will take to request for meds & PCC is a mystery to all. But once they ask for it, it means they are going to give you a visa.
