Hi All

Thanks for the post, me being a bit blonde, what exactly does this mean???

'Subsequent Entrant Applications

All subsequent entrant applications for subclasses 485, 487 and 475: 1

October 2010'

Does this refer to people who lodged before this date? or after?

I am so confused about things at the moment!!! Think we are only Priority 4 as OH is IT Manager and job falls in Schedule 1, so not on currant SOL, wish our agent was more forthcoming with information and updates. Ahhhhhhhh my head is going to explode with not knowing what is happening!!!

Kind Regards

Jill

Reza,

Many thanks for this information, it will keep a lot of people in the loop as to what is going on at DIAC.

May I ask where the informations comes from.

For the Mods: Is this the kind of information that could be made into a sticky and one which could be updated on a weekly basis, a bit like the Dollar weekly update??

Many thanks

I wonder what will happen tomorrow when vics smp comes into effect?

I was thinking exactly the same, seems a bit odd that 1 state is ready to rock n roll but the others have all gone very very quiet?!

SOOO FRUSTRATED!!! Awaiting WA SMP like many others. Really thought it would be Monday especially since WA website was down... Checked the internet @ 10 pm Sun then straight out of bed Mon and still nothing. I'm sure they get a kick out of it

I have had a constant headache the last 2 weeks. Maybe tomorrow, but my optimism is slowly fading

There is something wrong there. That is exacly happened with onshore 885 886 applications if you give blank e mail to brisbane processing centre at gsmb.information@immi.gov.au.they too jumped from may to august in 1 week.So don't get too excited guys.. there is definately some problem in processing dates.

This waiting can drive us nuts.... :arghh:

Now that DIAC has released info about the SMP (though it just seems to repeat info that we already know), i guess the rest of the State's SMP will start appearing very soon....

Thanks for posting Reza. So they are now processing Cat 2. Seeing as though only VIC have published their SMP this week then it must be just VIC Cat 2 at the moment.

I hope ACT start this week.

Thanks

Milkymoos let's hope they continue with those that already have COs! Fingers crossed.

Yes it would be very unfair for those who have just got CO's to be dropped. Their earlier processing email said they were processing Cat 3 up to 24 Dec 2008 so let's hope that they honour this.

And that email was only yesterday and the day before.

good luck everyone

Hey ilovemilkymoos,

I really hope that all the Cat 3, 175's like you who have a CO will keep them through to visa grant. It would be really unfair to yank your CO now. It does say in the auto-reply

mail released today that they are still considering 175 applications lodged before 24 December 2008, so hang in there and keep that fizzy ready on ice for just a while longer.

Laters....

History repeating itself again?? If they are going by the same practice, it means Cat. 3 applicants even with CO allocated would NOT be processed until all Cat. 2 has been processed?? That's really unfair! Its like giving you a cake but saying you can't eat it!

I hope they have streamlined their processes and able to process all application faster so that Cat. 2 & 3 can be cleared fast. This way, at least hopeless applicants like us in Cat. 4 have some slim chance, if any, of being processed.....

Cat 4 applicants ever processed?? This must be the biggest joke of the century. Don't forget that there were be Cat 3 applications that were made yesterday, more being made today and even more tomorrow! Let alone Cat 2 and Cat 1 applicants..

I think whoever is in CAT 3 and has a CO might get their Visa this Financial year.

DIAC has given only limited amt of visas for SMP's for this financial year.. after which all the CAT 3 will be processed .

I am not sure about this just hoping for the best to happen

Agree totally. It would be totally unjust and unfair for those allocated CO to have their processing halted. Finish the case and then move on to those higher priority. Let justice be done....
