Guest Jasp Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 My daughter is a theatre director and manages her own theatre company called 'Hanrick Theatre Company'. She's set up in Leeds UK at the moment, but now that 'it' is up and running, what she does as the theatre's director and founder can be transported anywhere in thw world. So, are there any opportunities for someone like her to set up in Tasmania rather than the usual pilgimages that we are told have to be inevitably made to Sydney and/or Melbourne (not that thatw ould matter as at least she would only be a short plane ride away if she decided to set up shop on the mainland. Just thought there might be ppl out there on PIO who are involved in Performing SArts or Theatre work that may be able to give us pointers or encouragement for her to check out the scene in Tas, that's all.
