outlawtorn
Hello all, I am currently looking at applying for a skilled independant visa as an electrician. I am fully qualified and am 29, However i think i might have trouble with meeting the minimum 12 months out of last 24 work history requirements. For the last 3 years i have been working as a contractor through an UMBRELLA company but due to the downfall in work in the uk i probably only actually had contracts that add up to about 8 months work in the last 24. My question is what evidence will i actually have to put forward with my application, even though i have not actually worked solid for this period i have still been registered as an empolyee all be it through an umbrella comapny. Will a letter from them stating length of time registered with them count as enough evidence. Any advice and help on this matter would be greatly appreciated thanx Dan
