I just rang to ASPC and hear that my application MIGHT BE allocated CO within 4 weeks. My current category is 3 and lodged my application on July 2008 for 175 was cat 6.

Additionally, he said cat 3 is now treated as the 2nd priority due to there is no SMP at the moment as we are aware of it and they are doing but not completing clearly new processing priority change stuffs and get it in practice, hence we are not hearing more news than expected.

At this stage, I doubt one thing.

I preloaded my family and my medical check on Feb 2009 and finalized on April 2009.

If I have CO on upcoming Aug, Would CO request new medical check? Or just accept it ? I really hate spending another money and time to REDO it......

Hey everyone!!

Just read on another thread that Pinal got a CO re-assigned today

Hello Everyone and Tasha,

Happy Birthday Tasha, I got a gift on your Birthday

I got the CO today and asked for PCC & medical as previous assessment are too old. I will update you all as my case will be progressed.

I will have to rush to get PCC because last time I fall late to provide PCC and I had to wait till date for next hearing from DIAC.

Pinal

Dear All,

I am bit of a confused regarding the options available to Category 3 applicants. Can they move up the ladder by acquiring a sponsorship under SMP or a job offer. They have no option or else .

Please kindly help me.

Best Regards,

Mahattaya.

To my understanding, you can move your priority with acquiring sponsor or etc.

But one thing is that you have to withdraw your existing application first without refunding and re-apply for your new targeting category.

I think I saw this comment ..... maybe in FAQ.....

It is quite unfair if that the scenario. But for my understanding the withdrawal option only for cat 4 applicants.mmm not sure though.

Unless they process it fast the cat 3 applicants, i feel this is unfair

Hi GGx0x0

I don't understand how CO for Pinal asks another Medical even Pinal done their Mid done Oct-2009 which is lesser than a year. Usually Med's validation is a year and sometimes it lasts few more.

My meds last 1 year and 7 months and hope not to do again at the moment.......Shouldn't I expect to make it happened?

I agree. Very helpful indeed. How come the Nov 2009 application got a CO already? Overtaking the others who lodged in 2008 and early 2009? Processing is not by date applied?

Hi everyone, i suppose we don't have a clear picture of what DIAC are up to at the moment.

It seems to me that they may process by date as pinal the first on our list got a CO today, which is great news.

I know greenhope has a CO also but they were cat 3 before the changes and their CO was assigned in DEC 09.

So i guess only time will tell.

Good luck all.

Maria.
