Is it true we are going to be decided before 2012?? hi, sorry ramesh, i'm not aware of a definitive period where our visa application will be decided upon. since we are not on the current list of SA SMP, we are sure in for a long wait. maybe not until a new list is publish for 2011 - 2012 calendar year which we all know would start this july can we take another peek on our status. but right now we are pegged at the tail end of the pack and that's the saddest truth. 3jps. Heading to SA just curious on your timeline. you mentioned that you applied your visa in Macrh 2010, does it mean that on the date of your visa application the our nominated occupation is still in the SA list of occupation in demand? because i'm still could'nt believe it that marine biologist would not be included considering the geographical feature of SA with extensive coastline and marine resources as against the ACT that seek marine biologist with less inland water bodies.
