Schedule 2: is for Onshore (Mostly skilled graduates) applicants. Schedule 3: is for General skilled independent applicants. Schedule 4 : is for Skilled-Sponsored applicants The last three are for new applicants who will be applying on or after 1st July, 2010. Now the interesting thing is: Both the "Schedule 2" and "Schedule 4" has an occupation "Computer Network and Systems Engineer - 263111" which is closest to 2231-79 Reference :http://www.comlaw.gov.au/ComLaw/legi...le/10026LI.pdf Hope that sheds some light on the hope of IT professionals, specially the network security personnel and Administrators. I'm a programmer and I could describe myself as being 261311, 261312 or 261313. If the states or DIAC are sensible then they'll run the sponsorship and priority systems at a more coarse level. For example, instead of just 2231-79 being CSL they might give more of a range. Mpogr, I'd guess that you fall into 261312 or 261313, and probably the former. Jobo Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 ACS were due to confirm how the transitional arrangements would apply once the new SOL was confirmed so hopefully they will be able to do that very soon. do you have an agent? i think that having an agent at this point in time will be very helpful. Jo Jo.. My understanding is that this is the list from where States can choose occupations for their SMP. This is not the new SOL and therefore, I don't think you can apply for Family Sponsored visas from this list. I have to not get into giving specific answers to individual queries, I'm sorry. Sch 3 - applies to all GSM applications lodged after 30/06/2010 Sch 4 - applies to GSM STATE (only) sponsored applications lodged after 30/06/2010. It means it does NOT apply to family sponsored applicants. Correct me if I am wrong. Well I guess Sch 2 is going to be that transitional arrangement they were talking about, for Onshores. Thanks. Reading the lists, I was under the impression that Hairdressers were on Schedule 4 so the only option open is being on one of the SMP lists. Correct me if I'm wrong.....
