Fair go: the firmly held aussie belief that everyone deserves a chance. Strangely ignored whenever it involves a boat load of afghan asylum seekers

don't get me started on kids names

Jett, rhett, AJ, CJ, riviere, bronte, monet, (WELL CLASS INNIT)

Cody, Brody, Schmody (Ok I made that one up)

:arghh:why not just make a noise and try spelling it?:arghh:

Those names are only allowed in Geelong West harpodom, closer to Melbourne those names are banned, promise !

I used to wort with a Brent and a Trent and a Wayne and Shane (brothers). braydon, haydon Jaydon....

'ows it travelling? (well actually it not travelling)

Hot enough for ya? :arghh:

I too cannot understand to call a boy Hayden/Haydn/Haydon/Heyden/heydn/heydon/heyd'n

I doubt whether its a nod to the classical composer

more likely one to that arrogant thug of an opening bat from QLD

How I laughed in 2005:Randy-git:

Oh, whilst on names, why is every child's name now actually a SURNAME?

Hayden, taylor/tayla, hudson, cooper(KOOPA-for ****'s sake) Bayley(BAYLEE/BAYLEIGH), tyson, soon there will be an O'Rourke (spelt ORORK)

couple more:

LAY BY not somewhere you stop on the road

DOONA (duvet-I suspect it initially started in oz as duvet but through mis-spelling and mis-pronunciation over a prolonged period (eg 2 weeks), it settled on its current form. will probably 'evolve' further to 'Na' or 'DOOO'
