starlight7 Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 Mt Dad came out to Australia to live at aged 80 ( after Mum died) He wished he'd come earlier and just loved every minute of it. People were friendly in his village and he found plenty to see and do. Brisbane is warm but I am sure you'll love it after the initial strangeness- and you've got the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast nearby, restaurants, beaches and lots to do.
