There was an ol boozer which was taken over as a gay bar and renamed The Cock INn:shocked: in what god knows lol

SUFC life not a pastime

I limit myself to 2 drinks a day, I`m now 10 years in front make that 15

my husband plays for their pool team (fanny on the hill)

 

If i recal correctly it was the only boozer open back holidays (back in the days of restricted opening hours) and it was just up the road from my old yoof club (lovell Road)

there's a pub in welling called fanny on the hill and one in bexleyheath called polly clean stairs.

 

 

Maybe its a South of the River thing, Who'd have fought it is in Plumbsted

The "Bucket of Blood" in Phillack Cornwall. Story goes that they went to the well to get some water, instead they got a bucket of blood due to a dead body in the well.

The oldest pub in Covent Garden "The Lamb & Flag" used to be called "The Bucket of Blood" due to the bare fist fights they used to have there.

For the best pub crawl get off the tube at wapping and make your way up to st cathrins dock then over tower bridge to the south side and along to london bridge then train home:wacko:
