Victorian State Sponsorship English requirements (IELTS band)

Hi,

I have applied for Victorian SS some 5 weeks back and waiting for their response.

 

To apply for Victorian SS, there is no pre-requisite of IELTS, that is, what i asked them and they replied me. I also checked out about IELTS requirement relevant to my profession i.e. 2231-79(C# Specialist).

 

They mentioned IELTS competency level against each profession and its IELTS band 6 against my profession.

 

I wanted to ask that if i get state sponsorship from Victoria then i'll need overall 6 band in IELTS or need 6 band in each module?

Normally, DIAC requires 6 band in each module.

 

Actually i appeared in IELTS and get overall 6.5 band (Speaking 7, Reading 6.5, Writing 5.5, Listening 6.5), so have a concern that whether should i appear in IELTS again?

Dear Imran,

 

As per my information you need 6.0 band in each module for immigration as well as for State sponsorship and there is no relaxation while different states have different requirement of IELTS so you better understand what to do next
