calNgary 8,548 Posted March 21, 2010 LOL, sure looks weird,, maybe cazbeckham is the best to answer this ,but id take a guess at maybe a smudge on the lens????????????????????????????????????? Cal x If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place... If you get a chance, take it, If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy they just said it would be worth it...

Guest LynzLove Posted March 21, 2010 Could be the imprint of some light source being moved over very quickly, but I am guessing that you were pretty still taking this, so maybe something moving past YOU, like a car headlight or something, very quickly, but then there is the unusual pattern. There could have been a bug or something fly by that doesn't stay in a particular route like a moth or something but you would most likely have seen that, and they don't travel so fast as to cover that distance in the short time it takes to take a photo - unless you had your camera set to a very slow shutter speed, in which case you would have maybe been able to capture this - it does have a strange glow to it though. If you were taking this on conventional film, then it could be just an error in processing with chemicals, or the carry-over from a previous photograph which had a similar shape on it. On digital photography I suppose it could be an electrical error in the camera but since the rest of the photo is fine, and you can clearly see the background behind the outline, that is unlikely. Guest Freudian Slip Posted March 21, 2010 To me it looks like something has reflected back from the lense, it doesn't look like the light shape is actually there in terms of part of the setting, did you have your flash on? It makes a nice photo though. Actually, saying that I have just had another look and if you look further up on the photo you can see the same kind of glow, but not as sharp....very strange

Guest Freudian Slip Posted March 21, 2010 It could be flash related along with the angle your camera was facing at the very second you took that particular photo, perhaps something reflected back. Oh maybe it could just be something less complicated like a UFO......
