Views on dentists/health insurance/school dental scheme??

Recommended Posts

Would love to hear you views on dental schemes or practices for children.

We got the free Medicare Teenage Check-up Vouchers a few weeks ago and I took the kids to a dentist in the Mount Martha area.

We got a 'schedule' for treatment....

Daughter 1 (16 years) - $900

Duaghter 2 (11 years) - $750

We knew the NHS was not the best service but...

Any 'ideas' would be appreciated!!!!!

You will notice that they cannot spell preventive.

Victoria's public dental system - Clients: Dentistry in Victoria - Victorian Government Health Information, Australia

might be worth a look.

Hi,

What are the costs of dental care over in Oz? We are currently looking at health insurance options for our 457 visa application and are weighing up whether to go for a policy that includes dental, optical, physio etc as well as the standard hospital care they all seem to offer. Any views would be welcome!!

Bear.
