Guest Sandisonsonthemove
HI fellow Qld peeps Well done Tasha and thank you for the new thread. It is good to see that everyone has finally achieved SS. Now for the (hopefully not too long) wait for case officer. It is weird but some mornings when I get to work I check my 100s of junk email just in case that email is there from DIAC. Not sure what I will do the day that arrives :swoon: Where do we all live in the UK? Would it be possible for us to arrange a meet somewhere on a weekend that is fairly central for most and have lunch or whatever. I think it would be really good to get together and break the ice before we all get to Oz. What do you think? Keep smiling everyone our time will come soon enough. Donna x As it happens - we're arranged a meet-up in Manchester for the 7th March, with people travelling from Liverpool and Birmingham (hopefully!). It may be a a little short notice for you, but you're more than welcome to come along. Check out the Socialising and Get Togethers Forum.

Did you enjoy yourselves? yes it does feel ages ago and feel now that we have joined another even longer queue. Paul is working away during the week at the moment which gives me more free time for PIO, been trying to work out when we should get our visa's, but think I've got more chance of winning the lottery. Still hoping to be out there by the end of the year though! how about you?:yes:Lesley

Al Think the sun may be heading your way tommorow, this is our second day of sunshine, three days is too much to hope for, but it is lovely to take the dogs for a walk without them coming back covered in mud, then they wait till they get back home and shake all over the hallway:no:Must love them though cos it's going to cost £6-7000 to take them with us to Oz. Can't wait for summer to come, I think winter is so depressing, want to get myself ready for all the hot weather over there.:wink:Lesley

Al No I am hoping for all Cat 5 peeps - but like I say - that is probably wishful thinking on my part! No-one knows... we just have to sit tight and see what the Cat 5 thread shows us... At least we will know eventually if they decided to process applications post Sept by watching that thread! All stopped now thank goodness, but its been so bad that quite a few people have died with these bad storms. Very sad. The worst France has seen in a long time apparently.
