Superannuation - After Permanent Residency

Recommended Posts

i would imagine nothing will happen to your super as a result of becoming a permanent resident. I do not believe treatment of superannuation is any different if you are temporary resident or permanent resident. You will continue to have contributions made.

Can I withdraw immediately once I get PR.

My thought was you can only withdraw super once you retire or once your 457 visa is canceled.

So I though to check can I withdraw once my 457 is canceled automatically as a result of getting PR.
