We got our visa in October and are going to validate in March, and check out schools, houses, jobs etc. I think from a previous post I remember you were looking at similar areas to me. My daughter will be going up to secondary school this september, so ideally before then. I don't really want her to have to move schools twice if we can help it. Now we have the visa Terry can start looking for jobs. And the house is going on the market in the next couple of weeks. We would like to sell it before going, but if it doesn't sell we will rent it out. We probably won't take the money with us from the sale anyway with the exchange rate as it is, and the rent would more than cover the mortgage. So our options are open.
